Generating Steam Heat radio show 14.06.16 (Roger Wells 'before they were famous' special)

Occasionally on Generating Steam Heat we get so punk that we decide to play no punk at all and this weeks show is one of those shows...

Guest presenter Roger Wells takes the show off piste with
an hour of 'before they were famous' new wave, post punk, indie, thrash, electro pop and alt rock. It’s out with the punk as Roger selects songs by bands before the breakthrough hit that bought them to the attention of a larger, mainstream audience

Roger was a member of ‘the unashamedly pop’ Rescue/International Rescue during the late 80’s/early 90’s, toured with Carter USM, recorded various singles & albums that found a home with Japanese pop kids before moving on to Union Starr and running indie label Wooden House Records. He’s currently playing his own brand of Americana at a festival near you under the name Irontrees and displaying great taste by listening to Generating Steam Heat.

And now on with the show...
